IDK's New Project Is More Than Just "Simple"

Jason Aaron Mills popularly known by his stage name IDK (Ignorantly Delivering Knowledge) drops off a new project, Simple. Since 2019, IDK has been showing off just how prolific he can be with the release of an album every year. Released on May 6, 2022, the 8-track EP stays true to the title as IDK connects with Kaytranada as the sole producer for the project with Denzel Curry and Mike Dimes serving as the only guest appearances.
IDK kicks off the project with the track “Drugstore” where he displays his lyrical prowess over a burping, electronic beat. One of my favorite tracks on the project was Dog Food. His cadence and delivery across this record will make you run it back again and again. The project closes out with Paris to Southeast, which is a comic narration of a flight experience while a resonating beat plays in the background. While it could be a daunting task to match the energy Kaytranada brings to every record, IDK caught the pocket on each song with perfection and stayed true to himself by keeping it "Simple".
