Born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania , Francis VI 's love for music started at a young age. He started to come into his own during his highschool years and had the spark to start creating his own music after seeing the various DJs perform at music festivals, such as Tomorrowland. While he grew up with a classical background, Francis committed to make the switch to the upbeat, dance scene as he had a passion for flipping/remixing hit songs and making them his own. Francis touches on his OG soundcloud days, his inspirations, and much more in our exclusive interview with him.

He touches on how his homies were the catalyst for him to start taking music seriously, and from that point on all he focused on was getting better with every step. Five years later, DayDay turned those freestyle sessions into big records like First Things First , which has amassed over 1.5 millions plays to date. Tune in now to our October 2020 Artist of the Month.
