SPEEDIN’ BULLET 2 HEAVEN (ALBUM) – KID CUDI

With the release of so many albums from big names in the industry this past Friday (December 4th), I, personally was the most interested in one of my most influential people I listened to in my life; Kid Cudi’s, Speedin’ Bullet 2 Heaven. More constructed like an 90s indie-alternative LP, Cudi leaves me, us, some of his most supportive fans, feeling a little empty inside. I think everyone has coped with the fact that we will probably never hear anything like Embrace The Martian, Down & Out, Mojo So Dope or even Day N’ Night, we have fully accepted that fact that we won’t hear that type of Cudder ever again from previous releases in the last few years. But it seems as if he’s branching out and pushing the boundaries so far that what is considered hip-hop/rap by todays standards, I cannot defend him too much anymore; only to say that music wouldnt be where it is if it was not for this once amazing, still influential and inspirational artist. But who knows you could love it or you could not, take a listen through and let us know what you think of the 2-disc album below.
