Guapdad 4000 & !llmind Release Their New Collab Album, "1176"

Oakland and New York City respective natives Guapdad 4000 and !llmind linked up to release their new collab album, 1176. The Lil Scammer That Could has provided us with music all pandemic long. From the RonaRap freestyles with the likes of Bryson Tiller, Isaiah Rashad, Boogie and more to dropping his single Alpha and the various guest verses he did, Guapdad has continued to give the people what they want. Our latest want was a new album from the Oakland scammer and, of course, he delivered.
For his latest project, Guapadad turned to his Filipino brother across the country, !llmind, to help craft the sound of the LP. “If !llmind had a power it would be to shapeshift, he can do anything. Something like this comes in handy when you need to tell the full spectrum of your story like I did in this music", Guapdad said in a statement. While he'll always talk about the scamming life, Guapdad wanted to dig deeper and be more personal on this album. "Most of the music is very personal and honest. Even the ratchet shit", he said in a tweet.
The 14-track track LP is an easy listen from front to back with guest appearances from P-LO, Tish Hyman, and Buddy. The outro record Stoop Kid was the perfect way to end the LP as he gives us two verses from his point of view of growing up in Oakland and his "stoop" before signing off with a personal, backstory to close out the album. "1176" will definitely be in rotation for days to come. You can listen to the entirety of the project below. Peace.
