"D-DAY: A GANGSTA GRILLZ MIXTAPE " BY DREAMVILLE IS ONE OF THE MOST ENCOMPASSING RAP MIXTAPES TO DATE

Dreamville Records, founded by J. Cole and Ibrahim Hamad in 2007, has just dropped their new mixtape, D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz. The whole roster — from JID, Bas, Lute, and Ari Lennox to EarthGang, Cozz, Omen, and J. Cole — are all featured on the tape. The 15-track project is every rap fan’s dream come alive. Perhaps, in a move to make the tape more appealing to all fans of hip-hop, the mixtape encompasses various sub-genres of rap. From hardcore rap to trap, and other subgenres, you will find all of it on "D-Day: A Gangsta Grillz".
There are a few tracks that really stand out for us because of the message they preach. One of them is track 15,
Heavens EP by J. Cole. Here Cole talks about racism and racial profiling among the police which is still a major problem in the United States. If you are looking for a more sublime vibe, track 8,
Blackberry Sap, will serve it to you on a platter. This is definitely the most encompassing rap mixtape of 2022 so far and should be part of your playlist.
