Unusual Demont's "Pine" Will Quickly Become Your New Favorite Record
Allow me to formally introduce you to your new favorite artist, Unusual Demont. The Wisconsin native comes to us today with his new single, Pine. While the energy of the record is high with its bouncy, melodic beat, the lyrics give off a different tone. "With pine I wanted to show a dichotomy between the lyrics and energy of the song again. Although the song itself is really bouncy and upbeat, it’s actually about the moral dilemma of a homewrecker coming into a dying relationship", Demont said in talks with Lyrical Lemonade.
"Pine" serves as the follow-up to Demont's record Amber, which has blown up since its release six months ago. Sometimes artists don't know which one of their songs will be "IT", but Demont knew from the moment he made "Amber" that it would be a hit.
"Pine" and "Amber" are the first two singles from Demont's upcoming project, Hues. In an interview with DJ Booth, Demont described his vision for he has in store for the project. "For each song, I have a vision about the hue or color that it brings up. So, Amber is very much the dark orange of summer, and I have other songs named after different colors to fit the theme. So, starting from there, we have a pretty clear-cut vision of what we want to do creatively", said Demont.
