Pink Sweats' Debut Album, "Pink Planet", Has Arrived

After 3+ years of crafting his sound and creating a lane for himself in the R&B game, Pink Sweat$ has finally released his debut album, Pink Planet. The journey for the Philly native officially took off after dropping his single Honesty in 2018. He then went on to drop 3 EPs in the following years: Volume 1, Volume 2, and The Prelude. The sweet, purposeful sound that Pink Sweat$ honed on these previous projects has led to his best work-to-date, "Pink Planet."

Consisting of 18-tracks, Pink Sweat$ starts the album off with the properly titled track Pink City. In describing the lead song to Apple Music, Pink Sweat$ said:

“I started off with ‘PINK CITY’ because I wanted to set the premise of who I am and where I'm from. 'PINK CITY' is that song that connects to the listener where it's like, whatever your struggles are, wherever you're from, that doesn't determine your success—that's just a beginning. You don't have to become your circumstance.”

Pink Sweat$ then proceeds to let us into his pink world as the album transitions from song to song. While Heaven and At My Worst (featuring Kehlani) are the standout singles, So Sweet has been my personal favorite that's been on repeat since the release.
