Jack Harlow's Debut Album Has Arrived

Jack Harlow's debut album, Thats What They All Say, has finally arrived. The Louisville rapper has been quietly putting in the necessary work to become the artist he is today. Since moving to Atlanta and signing to DJ Drama, Don Cannon, and Leighton “Lake” Morrison's label, Generation Now, in 2018, Harlow has released 3 EPs – Loose, Confetti, and Sweet Action, the latter of which dropped in March of this year.
2020 has been quite the year for Harlow. He dropped hit first hit single What's Poppin in January (peaked at #2 on Billboard's Hot 100 and earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance), hopped on the official remixes for Sawettie's Tap In and City Girls' P*ssy Talk, and now has released his debut album.
Harlow sets the tone for "Thats What They All Say" right from the jump with Rendezvous. Produced by Hit-Boy, Harlow gives us 2 minutes of honest bars with no hook. In a recent interview with GQ, Harlow mentioned that had recorded "Rendezvous" 48 hours before his album was due. The reasoning for re-doing his intro record was because Drama said, "the greats would do a new intro.” Harlow wants to be in those same conversations as Drake, Kendrick, and Cole when talking about all-time rappers when it's all said and done. Harlow's only 22 years-old and has already accomplished more than others do in their entire rap career. Only time will tell if he ends up among the greats in the end, but releasing an incredible debut album like this one, is the first step in many that he needed to take.
