Goodboy Noah Releases His New Single "Dial Tone"

As a follow-up to his record Tie Down, goodboy noah releases his new single, dial tone. Accompanied by visuals, Noah shares a story that many of us have gone through: the emotional rollercoaster of dealing with a break-up. In the music video, Noah goes through his day, desperately trying to reach out to his ex via a '80s style cellphone, but of course they're not answering. Ultimately, he throws the phone over a cliff and begins to move on.
In talks about the song, Noah shares that an unopened DM to Beyoncé is what helped to inspire this song. “‘dial tone is about being hung up on [by] the one that got away. The inspiration for the song came when I DM’d Beyoncé and she didn’t even open it. It was a hard pill to swallow, but after two months in a deep depression, I got up and wrote this song, so you could say it was worth it.”
While I'm sure we can all relate to not getting a response from the Queen B herself, not all of us can say that we made an incredible song because of the nonresponse like Noah. You can stream "dial tone" below.
