"Gems in the Cornerstore" is Worth the Listen

Over the last few years, it's felt as though more and more music is being released each and every day. On any given Friday, you can go to your favorite music streaming provider and find at least 20 new songs/albums waiting to be played. The big question that you always ask yourself though is, "which one do I play first?" The answer for last Friday, December 4th, should have been GEMS IN THE CORNERSTORE.

The joint project comes to us from singer/rapper Elujay and producer J.Robb. Elujay's smooth soulful sound in collaboration with J.Robb's future bounce productions pairs well across the entirety of the 11-track project. The tone is set from the get-go with Choose-Up and continues on as each record effortlessly transitions into the next until the LP comes to a close with the up-beat R&B jam, Lady featuring Kyle Dion.

In a statement about the "GEMS IN THE CORNERSTORE", Elujay said:

"Me and J.Robb made this project over the course of 6-8 months of this quarantine. It started off as zoom sessions which turned into ideas that formed into songs which then became this beautiful LP. We made this project with the intention of it being carefree and from the standpoint of a fan of music. It gave me the chance to experiment and try different sounds and riddims that people haven't heard me on.. this is just the beginning."
