EST Gee is a Special Artist and His New Album "Bigger Than Life Or Death" Showcases That

The first time I pressed play on EST Gee's new album Bigger Than Life Or Death was about a week ago while I was driving around, running errands in Atlanta. While I usually start all my first listens from the intro record, track 3, 5500 Degrees featuring Lil Baby, 42 Dugg, and Rylo Rodriguez, caught my eye and I immediately skipped right to it... and then proceeded to play it 3 more times in a row before finally deciding to run the album from top to bottom. If "5500" was the energy EST Gee was going to be coming with throughout the album, I had no doubt this was going to be one of THOSE albums from the rising artist.
While I've heard earlier singles and guest verses from the Louisville rapper, his energy on "Bigger Than Life Or Death" felt different... ironically, it felt bigger. From his sound to his pen, EST Gee feels authentic. One line clever line that stuck out to me came from the intro record Riata Dada, "We like mobsters, only difference, we sip syrup with our pasta." The album is littered with bars like that and unforgettable verses. Even with additional guest appearances from the likes of Future, Young Thug, Lil Durk, Pooh Shiesty, and Yo Gotti, EST Gee still managed to shine.
