Memberzxnly Reminds Us It's Okay to Cry

One thing that I have truly appreciated during this pandemic has been that the creatives have continued to create. Throughout this life-changing year, artists across all disciplines, particularly music, have been releasing amazing pieces of work. Memberzxnly's latest project, Boys Cry Too, is one of those pieces. Released on November 17th, "Boys Cry Too" serves as Memberzxnly's follow-up to his first EP, MX. Though he's been musically gifted since his younger days, Memberzxnly had only just found his current sound almost 5 and a 1/2 years ago:
"my senior year i met [Dos Dias] and recorded for the first time ever. that night 5 years ago, i heard the project we release to the world today...i could HEAR the sound but i hadn’t matured enough yet in my artistry to create it. lessons only become losses when you don’t learn from them. these 4 tracks cover some of my L’s", he said in an Instagram post about "MX."
Now as a more mature man, Memberzxnly has perfected his sound–that he was once trying to create years ago–on "Boys Cry Too." Likewise to "MX", honesty and vulnerability are themes present on this album as well. It's refreshing to hear an artist be open with us like this. No gimmicks. No facades. Just the truth. Memberzxnly lets us into his intimate world on this EP and gives us the gentle reminder that it's okay to not have it all together, it's okay to feel your emotions, and most importantly, it's okay to cry.
