'Apt. 505' is a quite solid debut album by Coast Contra. 

The JID's 'Never' portrays each member of the gang, showcasing their personality, technique, and flow on the track. 



It really is an amazing freestyle, and especially the storytelling aspect is quite enjoyable for the listeners, by Eric Jamal. They together seem to show much potential, and it looks like they will make a great group in the long run. 

Talking about the album, every artist has a unique style that is distinct but works when combined together. There is enough variation in the album to keep listeners captivated. A few snappy tracks and a lot of storytelling aspects are present in this intriguing compilation. 

What was expected from the album was some old-school type produced music, but it came as a surprise that the vibes were more recent sounding which, to be honest, worked in some ways but did not in others. 

Well, people really liked their freestyle, and I reckon it made them different from other artists in a positive way. 

But talking about the newer production, they could not deliver the tracks in a distinct way as compared to the freestyle. Some beats are really catchy, with no sort of bad taste, and the production is quite good. They seem to be rising in the coming times because of their talents.
